I have been a total LOSERHEAD at blogging here's my comeback. Let's kick it off with this sweet, eclectic summer wedding that still has me all googly-eyed! Tabbatha and Caleb included the most thoughtful details and it was so fun to get creative with them at the beautiful and historic Cactus Hotel.

I thrive on working closely with my couples to help ensure that their day is smooth, joyful and organized as far as the photography goes. From the moment that Tabbatha booked with me, I knew her wedding day would be particularly special because you see; Caleb & Tabbatha's love is also something special. I don't know that I've ever seen any two people look at each other with such admiration of one another. Hearing their hopes for their marriage and wedding day through the course of their planning, hearing their prayers to one another during their first look, and hearing their vows exchanged - allowed me to be witness to a lifetime kind of love and good golly gosh...I feel so special to have shared in the joyful celebration.

Handmade bouquets, bridesmaids dresses you can *actually* wear again, laughter beyond measure? Sign me up for more of that please!

Let me tell you something, friends. Two days before Daven and Meg's wedding day, we had a 90% chance of not just precipitation, but full out thunderstorms! Prayers were certainly heard and answered because not a single drop fell on us all Saturday long.

I have felt so welcomed and appreciated by these families through all of their wedding planning and adore how family was at the center of the entire wedding day. Meg made the time with her sweet bridesmaids so special and you could just see that she really wanted to have thoughtful time spent with each of her close friends. Daven and his best buds had me laughing until my cheeks hurt! Seriously, just look below at their pyramid stunt...that's certainly a first for me! Every single detail incorporated into the wedding day was evident of the bride and groom's personalities and the elegant simplicity of it all was a perfect match for the gorgeous Chapel in the Vineyard! It's truly a favorite venue of mine here in our little corner of West Texas!

I don't think anyone could have hoped or prayed for a more beautiful Spring wedding. Daven and Meg, you two compliment each other beautifully. Your darling Olivia is surrounded by so much love and joy and I pray that many years from now, she will cherish these photographs as she gets to look through one of the most joyous days of all of your lives. I'm so grateful to have been the one to tell this little piece your story.

Woohoo! Daven & Meg are finally married and it was an absolutely perfect wedding day full of sweet, intimate moments and so much love.

I've been basically losing my mind over getting to share Meg's incredible bridal portraits y'all! Bridal sessions are a true favorite and I adore sharing them with you all...this is one for the books - complete with yummy light, a handmade bouquet, a bride who did her own stunning hair and makeup along with this secret garden (literally).
