I remember in the early Spring of this year how bummed I was that I had zero Fall weddings booked. The lack of wedding bookings had me feeling a bit like a failure...questioning whether it was really a smart idea to leave the comfort and safety of my full time job. Mr. Dean and I decided to take that big leap though and God has more than provided for us. I have had the opportunity to photograph soo many incredible families this Fall season and my heart is just beaming with gratefulness and joy. Not only have I been busy with Fall sessions - but I have constantly reminded of how appreciated and supported I am by my friends, family and clients. And despite my doubts and worries, my 2017 weddings are filling up and I couldn't be more excited!
Elizabeth and Ollie first reached out to me for Elizabeth's maternity session and they somehow didn't lose faith in me when I took them out to a sketchy, abandoned grass field behind my apartment complex at the time! They were up for anything, full of giggles and their family session a couple of weeks ago was no exception! Only this time, I was getting to document their sweet Hadley girl from the outside! That is one of my VERY favorite things about what I do...getting to tell more than one story throughout the course of a couple or family's life. How neat is that?!
